Elmhurst College’s chief information officer leads and facilitates technology programs in support of the teaching and research mission of the College, with a focus on academic, administrative, infrastructure and support technologies.
In 2009, Dr. James (Jim) Kulich became the College’s vice president and chief information officer, after serving on the faculty and in other administrative roles since 1984. He first came to Elmhurst to join the faculty in the mathematics department after earning a Ph.D. in mathematics from Northwestern University.
Dr. Kulich has a strong interest in the active use of information and technology to promote effective scholarship, teaching and learning as well as good administrative practice. He is especially excited about the possibilities a unified technology and institutional research group, such as ours, has to spark fresh thinking and innovation throughout the College.
