Your Elmhurst College Technology Account allows you access to the systems on campus. Below are several components of your Technology Account, all of which you can access from the My Elmhurst Campus Portal:
BlueNet is the administrative system of the College. This is where you will register for classes, obtain your class schedules, check your grades and use other administrative services.
Blackboard is a course management system that many instructors use as a teaching tool on campus. Your professor will advise you if Blackboard is being used for your course.
Google Apps Email
Elmhurst College has partnered with Google to provide students with email and other Google Apps access. All students have been assigned a Google Apps for Education account. To activate email, please follow these steps:
1) Login to MyElmhurst Portal (http://my.elmhurst.edu/).
2) Click the “Google Apps email” link.
3) Enter your email username and temporary password.
a) Email username: first name (dot) last name
b) Full email address: first name (dot) last name @net.elmhurst.edu
c) Temporary password: your birthdate in the format mmddyyyy
4) Agree to Google’s policies and create a password.
a) Password must be at least eight (8) characters.
b) It must be a combination of letters and numbers.
c) It must contain one capital letter.
