Elmhurst College is a private, four-year liberal arts college, affiliated with the United Church of Christ. Small by design, Elmhurst is a close-knit community where each student is a person, not a number. Our greatest strength is the recognized excellence of our academic programs; Elmhurst is among the top 10 comprehensive colleges in the Midwest, according to the latest survey by U.S. News & World Report.
As part of our commitment to making a high-quality education accessible, Elmhurst is pleased to participate in the Illinois Virtual Campus.
Academics
On campus, Elmhurst offers 51 undergraduate majors, nine pre-professional programs, and seven master's degree programs. Many of these courses include online components. One course, Chemistry 110, can be completed entirely online.
