Interdepartmental

The interdepartmental major provides an opportunity to design a major that meets particular academic interests. The major consists of at least eight courses offered by two or more academic departments and fulfills the major, as a graduation requirement, without having to complete specific requirements for multiple majors in two or more academic departments. Procedures for designing an interdepartmental major are available from the Office of Academic Services (Advising).

Additionally, the College offers two interpartmental majors that include predesigned curricula: American Studies and Interdisciplinary Communication Studies.
