Speech Language & Hearing Clinic

The Elmhurst College Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic provides the highest quality care for all clients. The clinic provides speech, language, and audiological evaluations, as well as therapy for individuals of all ages with communication problems. Intensive infant and early childhood speech and language stimulation also is provided. Parental involvement is encouraged through ongoing consultation with clinical staff, in-session activites, and observation from behind one-way mirrors.

Services are primarily provided by undergraduate speech-language pathology majors, supervised by the Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic staff. All clinical staff members are certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed by the State of Illinois.

In addition to providing clinical services for individuals with speech, language, and hearing problems, Elmhurst College offers Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees with a major in speech-language pathology.
