The Elmhurst College Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic provides the highest quality services and care for all clients. The clinic provides speech, language, and audiological evaluations, as well as therapy for individuals of all ages with communication problems. Intensive infant and early childhood speech and language stimulation also is provided. Parental involvement is encouraged through ongoing consultation with clinical staff, in-session activities and observation from behind one-way mirrors.
Services are primarily provided by Elmhurst undergraduates who are majoring in communication sciences and disorders, supervised by the Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic staff. All clinical staff members are certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed by the State of Illinois.
In addition to providing clinical services for individuals with speech, language and hearing problems, Elmhurst College offers Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees with a major in communication sciences and disorders.
