The Intercultural Studies Program at Elmhurst offers two main courses of study: the major in Intercultural Studies and the minor in Intercultural Studies. The Intercultural Studies minor is an especially good choice for students interested in diversity, multicultural and ethnic studies who want to develop intercultural awareness and skills.
All students majoring or minoring in intercultural studies choose a focus from the available options, or design their own focus in collaboration with a focus advisor.
Special options are available for nursing majors who wish to develop a relevant diversity focus. For more information, see Options for Nursing Majors.
