Where in the World Will You Go?
Almost anywhere! Elmhurst currently hosts international education programs in 44 different countries in North America, South America, Asia, Europe, Africa, and Australia. But if you want to blaze a new trail, just let us know—we can probably get you there.
Keep in mind, while you’re choosing a destination, that you can do almost anything while you’re there. You can take courses, explore your new home away from home, and master a new language. About half of our study-abroad students also take advantage of international service-learning and internship opportunities. These students blend the practical with the theoretical in their chosen country—just as they do at Elmhurst. They turn an already great opportunity into a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Students can also study abroad during the January or Summer Term with Elmhurst College faculty members and concentrate on a single subject.
