Admission criteria

Qualified applicants should show evidence of their ability to successfully complete college-level work in English. We look for minimum scores of 550 on the paper-based TOEFL, 213 on the computer-based TOEFL, 79 on the internet-based TOEFL, 6.5 on the IELTS or 77 or better on the MELAB.  Students not able to meet these required scores should upgrade their English language proficiency at an ELS language center, where they must complete the certificate for the ELS-level 112.

The College gives preference to students who complete 16 academic units, including three units of English; two units each of mathematics, laboratory sciences, and social studies; and seven units in additional college preparatory subjects.
