Additional Requirements for International Students
International students must also submit official transcripts, in English, with an evaluation of those transcripts by a foreign credentials evaluation agency, and proof of English proficiency, as evidenced by a minimum score of 550 on the paper-based TOEFL, 213 on the computer-based test, or 79 on the Internet-based test.
Conditional Admission
In two circumstances, a student may be considered for conditional admission to graduate study.
A currently enrolled student may be conditionally admitted to graduate study to enable the student to prepare academically for graduate work as part of the student's undergraduate program, with the assurance of being eligible for admission to graduate study.
An applicant in need of program-specific prerequisites may be conditionally admitted to take these required courses at Elmhurst College with the assurance of being eligible for admission to graduate study.
Provisional Admission
A student may be considered for provisional admission if he or she can document admissibility to a program but is unable to present all required documentation for admission in a timely way.
