Graduate Certificate in Human Geography for AP®

Curriculum

Graduate students in the Graduate Certificate in Human Geography for AP® program at Elmhurst complete 3.75 course credits (15 semester hours) with the successful completion of all 5 core courses. Those who wish to complete only elective courses will receive 0.75 course credits (3 semester hours) per course.

APH 502 Implementing Spatial Concepts and Tools into the Classroom

Spring A (8 weeks; 0.75 course credits/3 semester hours)
APH 503 Teaching Urban, Economic, and Population Geography Issues

Spring B (8 weeks; 0.75 course credits/3 semester hours)
APH 504 AP® Human Geography Capstone
