An Update for Transfer Nursing Students

Because of the high demand and competitive nature of our programs, we are unable to accept transfer student applications for entry into the nursing program for the 2009/2010 academic year. However, acceptance of new transfer student applications for the 2010/2011 academic year will begin October 1, 2009. Please note that when applications reopen for the 2010/2011 academic year students wishing to transfer into our nursing program will first apply to Elmhurst College and once approved, submit a second application to the Deicke Center for Nursing Education for approval to enter the nursing clinical courses.  Please visit our website (click here) for specific criteria needed to apply to the nursing program.

Admission to Elmhurst College does not guarantee admission into the nursing program.  Please also note that admission into the nursing program is dependent on both academic standards and space availability within the program
