Following is a listing of equivalent courses in general education offered at Heartland Community College, which will be accepted in transfer in each area. In addition to completing a course within each of the categories listed in the above Areas of Knowledge section, each student is also required to complete proficiencies in four areas. These may be fulfilled through completion of the courses listed below, or in some cases, through ACT scores, AP credits, or proficiency exams at Elmhurst College.
