Elmhurst College Payment Plan
Students may elect to pay tuition over time, using the Elmhurst College Payment Plan. Here is how it works:
  • First, the College subtracts financial aid from your account balance.
  • Before the term begins, you pay 20 percent of the balance on your account.
  • You pay the remaining balance in monthly installments over the next four months.
  • A 1 percent monthly service charge is added to any unpaid balance.

Outside Billing
When your employer or other agency authorizes a billing under its tuition benefit plan and will pay the tuition directly to Elmhurst College, service charges relating to the payment will be waived or removed provided the payment is received within six weeks of the beginning of the term. Under such plans, payment of the charges cannot be dependent upon grades or course completion.

Tuition Reimbursement Plans
Some employers reimburse employees for tuition costs after the end of the term. Provisions for these types of reimbursement plans vary from one employer to another. To participate in a tuition reimbursement plan, students must submit a letter from the employer for each term of registration. Students receiving 100 percent reimbursement from their companies are not required to make an initial payment. Students receiving less than 100 percent reimbursement are required to make payment for their
portion of charges in keeping with the Elmhurst College payment plan.
