With increasing resources being allocated to combat cyber threats—a trend that is expected to increase over the next decade—employers are looking to increase security in their IT departments. The U.S. Department of Labor states that "employment of information security analysts...is projected to grow 22 percent from 2010 to 2020, faster than the average for all occupations."

Career opportunities in cyber security include, but are not limited to:
