Learn to Lead

Organizations and companies of all kinds are looking for effective leaders who can think independently, adapt to changing situations, balance multiple perspectives, and take a broad view of the world. The flexibility and leadership abilities that come from a true liberal arts education are in high demand.

Designed specifically for adult students who aspire to leadership roles, Elmhurst College’s accelerated major in organizational leadership and communication will prepare you to lead in any sector. The curriculum combines in-class and online coursework with case studies, teamwork and experiential learning.

You can complete all the required courses for the major in just 16 months of evening classes. To earn the bachelor’s degree, you’ll also need to complete certain requirements in the Elmhurst College Integrated Curriculum, a series of courses that provide a strong foundation in the liberal arts and sciences.

In our supportive environment, you’ll gain the confidence to try new ideas. You’ll work with real clients to develop effective solutions to actual workplace challenges. You’ll learn to anticipate change, implement innovations and get your message across. You’ll emerge from the program with a bachelor’s degree—and a strong foundation of flexible skills that will prepare you to lead in any work environment.
