Careers
An art education at Elmhurst College leads to a wide variety of exciting careers. Many of our students successfully pursue graduate study in the visual arts; others go directly into rewarding careers as Web designers, working artists, teachers, curators, and art directors. Our alumni include:
- Steve Loomis, ’69, a costume designer living in Hollywood
- Marianne Graziano, ’80, a gallery owner and high school art teacher
- Derek Chementi, ’91, a computer animator for Carl Productions whose art credits include NBC’s Crime Watch and a Motorola television commercial
- Linda Boardman, ’94, a painter whose work has been shown at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and many local galleries
- Natalie Cooper, ’01, a fabric designer for Jones Apparel in New York City
- Minam Apang, ’02, who is exhibiting and pursuing graduate work in Mumbai, India
- Jennifer Miller, ’02, a middle school art teacher in Elmhurst
- Tom Biegel, ’04, a web site and graphic designer in Illinois
