Core Curriculum

The Core Curriculum is designed to provide students with knowledge of and ability to use the basic components of visual literacy, an understanding of the art historical heritage of Western culture and of non-European traditions, and an understanding of how these areas of the discipline interrelate and how they are integrated in practice. The core consists of the following courses:
