A biology major is a gateway to challenging careers in health care, graduate study and research, teaching, and many industrial, agricultural, and environmental applications.
Biology majors at Elmhurst can choose a study track leading toward professional medicine and allied health care fields, graduate study, or secondary-school teaching. Students who have identified a different career goal can work with their advisors to create a customized track for that career. The program's flexibility even allows evening students to major in biology.
