At Elmhurst, your study of biology is enhanced by state-of-the-art equipment and multiple dedicated laboratories, including a greenhouse. The college's facilities support a balanced program of traditional and modern scientific methods, including molecular biology and the ability to perform research involving sophisticated genetic analysis.

In addition, a wealth of nearby animal and plant collections in study-related facilities offer plentiful resources for field work. The Elmhurst campus itself is a designated arboretum, harboring more than 600 plant species.

Human anatomy courses have access to a wealth of anatomical models and resources—including our very own cadaver.
