Chicago's history as a center for marketing provides many opportunities for marketing majors to get a head start in their careers. Majors complete the core requirements (maintaining a 2.0 overall average in the core) and five additional courses in areas such as sales, retail management, advertising, consumer behavior, and market research. They are then ready to pursue careers ranging from advertising to sales.
