Health Professions Student Guidebook
Center for the Health Professions Student Guidebook
This manual serves as a reference tool to students, faculty, and staff of the Elmhurst College community regarding health care fields and preparations for professional school. It is an extensive handbook updated yearly that assists students as they are exploring career opportunities and learning more about applying to professional school programs such as dentistry, medicine, optometry, physical therapy, etc. Although this handbook includes a lot of helpful tools and information, students should always check with professional schools and organizations for any new and updated information. Questions regarding the content of the manual or about anything health care related can be directed to the staff in the Center for the Health Professions. The student guidebook is not a substitute for meeting with a staff member in the Center, and students are encouraged to set up an appointment to learn how this information can be utilized to support their individual pursuits.
