September
Register for the PSAT or the ACT PLAN.
Meet with your counselor to make sure you're taking the courses required for college.

October
Attend open house at Elmhurst College.

November
Attend open house at Elmhurst College.

December
Register for February ACT.
Attend Junior Jumpstart program at Elmhurst College.

January
Make a list of colleges you would consider. Request admission and financial aid information from colleges.

February
Register for March SAT I.
Register for April ACT.

April
Register for May/June SAT I.
Begin applying for summer jobs or academic programs that will interest you and reflect well on your college application.

May
Attend a college fair.
Begin visiting colleges.


Senior Year

September
Check deadlines for admission and financial aid applications.
Gather application materials.
Register for October/November SAT I, and September/October ACT.
Begin applying for admission to meet college admission deadlines.
Fill out Elmhurst College Financial Aid Early Estimate Form.

October
Register for December/January SAT I and December ACT.
Attend open house at Elmhurst College.

November
Pick up FAFSA from guidance office or apply online.
Register for the CSS Profile.
Attend open house at Elmhurst College.

January
Submit FAFSA.
Attend the Elmhurst College Financial Aid Workshop.

February
Watch for Student Aid Report in the mail.

March
Make sure all college applications have been completed.

April
Review college acceptances and financial aid awards.
Remember the usual deadline for college deposits: May 1.
