International Education
Go global for a month, a term, or a year! At the CPE we strongly encourage first-, second-, and third-year students to pursue international education programs.
Many of our programs go beyond classroom experiences to incorporate internship and service-learning opportunities. But no matter what type of program you choose, you'll immerse yourself in another culture, refine your language skills, challenge your cultural assumptions, and prepare yourself for life as a world citizen. Employers will value your experience because it reflects a global awareness and a talent for adapting to new circumstances.
You may be surprised to learn that a semester or year abroad usually costs no more than a semester or year at Elmhurst. You can apply most financial aid toward international study, and most course credits count toward your Elmhurst degree.
