Support at Every Step of the Way

The Office of Career Education at Elmhurst College offers a wealth of guidance and support as you refine your career goals and prepare to enter the workforce.

Among other services, we offer:

  • One-on-one meetings with career education staff to help you develop meaningful career goals, craft a strong résumé and conduct effective interviews
  • A career exploration course (Professional Foundations of Career Development, CPP 299) that provides valuable tips on choosing a career path
  • Seminars and workshops on conducting job searches, networking with working professionals and other career-related issues
  • On-campus job fairs and interviews
  • An online job board where employers post employment opportunities

Career Education also offers a variety of resources through the Illinois Small College Placement Association (ISCPA), a consortium of 25 liberal arts colleges and universities throughout Illinois representing more than 70,000 students and 150 majors.
