Major in Computer Science
The Computer Science major offers a comprehensive exploration of basic computer science concepts involving both theoretical and practical approaches.
This track is ideal for students with interests in software engineering, robotics, data processing, artificial intelligence, computer graphics, game design and programming, scientific programming, and microprocessor development. Requirements for the Major Core Courses Sample Four-Year Curriculum
Requirements for the Major All computer science majors must take the 11 Core courses in computer science and MTH 151, 152, and 301. It is also highly recommended that a student majoring in computer science take CS 303, 440, IS 423, and CS 490.
