Housing Options

Elmhurst College offers off-campus housing at the Elmhurst Terrace Apartments for students enrolled in the Elmhurst Learning and Success Academy (ELSA) who are sophomore level and above. ELSA students must apply for a screening assessment conducted by the Ray Graham Association Monarch Living Program prior to completing the student housing application. Please note, this housing option is a new pilot program. This housing opportunity provides free Elmhurst College shuttle bus transportation daily to and from campus as well as fee-based life coaching support provided by the Ray Graham Association as determined by the screening assessment. The shuttle bus runs on a daily schedule.

Another housing opportunity for ELSA students is the Monarch Living Program which operates several assisted–living apartments just a few blocks from campus. This program is run by the Ray Graham Association and is designed to be a springboard to independent living for young adults. Although the program is not associated with the ELSA program at Elmhurst College, ELSA maintains a close working relationship with the facility. For many of the ELSA students, the program may be a perfect fit.
