Costs & Financial Aid

Full-time tuition for ELSA during the 2012–2013 academic year is $14,856 per term. Part-time tuition is based on an hourly rate of $787 per hour. Tuition includes all books and required instructional materials. Meal plans are optional and may be purchased through the College’s dining services.

Grants
ELSA offers a limited number of grants to qualified students. Details on current grant programs are available upon request and are included in all ELSA application packets, or  download our Financing Your Education for ELSA Students guide online. Grant applications must be submitted to the ELSA Scholarship Committee by July 1, along with the required financial information.

Other Sources of Financial Aid
Certain types of federal financial aid are now available to students: Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) and federal work study.  Because these programs address the needs of low income students, not all students will qualify. Students need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year so that eligibility can be determined.

We encourage students and their families to seek out additional sources of funding as well, such as corporations, local businesses, private scholarship opportunities, vocational rehabilitation agencies and churches.
