Description: Elmhurst College invites applications for a one-year visiting faculty appointment beginning in August 2009. Candidate may reapply for the tenure track position (pending Board approval) that follows this initial appointment. Responsibilities will include conducting and further developing the Chamber Orchestra program and supervising student teachers in Music Education. Qualifications: Ability to teach music theory is beneficial. Candidates should possess considerable experience in orchestral conducting, strong teaching skills in string education at the college and 4-12 level and demonstrate the ability to supervise student teachers. Appropriate Masters Degree and K-12 experience required, doctorate equivalent professional experience also considered. Candidates must be committed to professional education in a liberal arts college setting.

Description: The Speech-Language Pathology Program at Elmhurst College is seeking candidates for a tenure-track position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level beginning Fall Term 2009. A strong commitment to both service and scholarly activities is expected. All areas of expertise will be considered.
