Elmhurst offers a comprehensive range of need- and merit-based financial aid programs, including scholarships, grants, loans and student employment. In 2011-2012, 95% of full time students received some form of financial aid. Much of that aid came from Elmhurst itself. The average award (including student loans) was $26,560. Admission decisions at Elmhurst are made independently from any consideration of financial need.
