Payment Plans

Elmhurst College Payment Plan
Students may elect to pay tuition over time, using the Elmhurst College Payment Plan.
The plan has two options.
Option A:  Payment in full by the initial payment date.
Payment dates:
Fall term-August 15
January Term-December 15
Spring Term-January 15
Option B:  Monthly payment plan.
Elmhurst College offers a payment plan which gives students the opportunity to pay tuition and fees in five monthly installments per semester. To participate, students make an initial payment of 20% of the total charges (minus any scholarships, grants and loans which have been awarded and accepted). For the fall term the first payment is due by August 15, with the remaining balance due in four installments on the 15th of September, October, November and December. For the spring term, the first payment is due by January 15, with the remaining balance due in four installments on the 15th of February, March, April and May.  A 1% service charge will be added each month on any remaining balance. Call the Office of Student Accounts at (630)617-3015 for more information.

Outside Billing
When your employer or other agency authorizes a billing under its tuition benefit plan and will pay the tuition directly to Elmhurst College, service charges relating to the payment will be waived or removed provided the payment is received within six weeks of the beginning of the term. Under such plans, payment of the charges cannot bedependent upon grades or course completion.

Tuition Reimbursement Plans
Some employers reimburse employees for tuition costs after the end of the term. Provisions for these types of reimbursement plans vary from one employer to another. To participate in a tuition reimbursement plan, students must submit a letter from the employer for each term of registration. Students receiving 100 percent reimbursement from their companies are not required to make an initial payment. Students receiving less than 100 percent reimbursement are required to make payment for their portion of charges in keeping with the Elmhurst College payment plan.

For further information concerning tuition and payment, please contact the Office of Students Accounts at (630) 617-3014.
