Careers

World language study leads to dynamic careers in business, education, government, international law, tourism, translation, social services, the natural sciences, or any number of other possibilities. Our world language graduates are engaged in exciting, rewarding careers in a variety of professional fields. For example:

  • Recently three of our graduates have won prestigious Fulbright Research or Teaching Grants to work in Germany (Scott Morris '08), Panama (Elizabeth Glass '10) and Brazil (Michelle Peterson '12)
  • Language teachers throughout local schools include Olivia Spadlowski '13, Sarah LoPresti '12, Chrissy Martens '09 and '12, Jenna Sokoloski '09, Debbie Sbertoli '03, Vicki Vrinios '03 and many others
  • Kelsey David '13, Agnes Glowik '12 and Jacob Stelter '12 are successful bilingual health care providers.
  • Others go on to master's and Ph.D. programs
