For many Elmhurst College students, a scholarship spells the difference between postponing college and experiencing a life-changing educational opportunity. In good times and bad, we stand firmly behind our students’ college dreams with financial support.
We invite you to join our effort to help tomorrow’s leaders by making a gift to support scholarships at Elmhurst. There are several ways to help:
An endowed scholarship supports Elmhurst students with the interest earned on invested funds. Donors may create an endowed scholarship with an investment of at least $50,000. In addition, donors may direct scholarship support to students in a particular major or to representatives of specific groups.
Light of Knowledge Annual Scholarships
A gift of $2,500 establishes a Light of Knowledge Annual Scholarship to help fund the education of an Elmhurst College student for an academic year. The annual scholarship can be made in the donor’s name or it can honor someone else such as a friend, family member or professor. It also may be directed to students in a particular academic major.
Gifts to the General Scholarship Fund
Annual support of the General Scholarship Fund provides Elmhurst College the gift of flexibility. Your support for this fund allows the College’s Office of Financial Aid to respond to the changing needs of students and help them continue to pursue their educational goals in years when they might otherwise not be able to meet expenses.
Compassion Scholarship Fund
Elmhurst College has initiated a special scholarship fund to assist students who lose a parent while enrolled at Elmhurst. Your commitment to the Elmhurst College Compassion Scholarship Fund enables our College family to support our students and their families to ensure their educational success.
