Elmhurst provides a range of opportunities and opens many doors for us. Elmhurst has given me a sense of comfort. I also came here because there is a small ratio of faculty members to students. That is important for my learning. Finally, Elmhurst has a gorgeous campus.

I chose Elmhurst College because the college is close knit. I knew it would be easy to meet people and build relationships with classmates and professors. Everything is so accessible that it did not take long for me to feel at home, especially as a transfer student. Also, Elmhurst had a great reputation for many of its programs and its beautiful campus.

: Music Education
When I started looking at colleges I never had even heard of Elmhurst until my choir teacher, who is a graduate, suggested that I look into it. I checked out the web site and then applied. I was thrilled when I got my acceptance letter and I quickly made an appointment to audition for the music department. The first time I was on campus was during my audition. I was almost instantly taken in by the charm of this cute little campus. Even in the cold temperature I felt warmth. After my audition, I knew I wanted to go to Elmhurst for sure. I didn't apply to any other colleges. I had my campus tour with my mom and sister and even they fell in love with the campus and the people. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I love the music program, the people and the campus. I can honestly say that I can't imagine myself being happy at any other college.
