[ Giving to Elmhurst ]
President's Society
Take a leadership role in our work of creating tomorrow's leaders.
"Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other."- John F. Kennedy
For us, leadership and learning are indispensable not only to each other but also to our great shared cause: a special College where favorable surroundings and dedicated teachers-- supported by legions of alumni and friends-- produce intellectual and personal growth in young people.
Elmhurst College is proud to honor the legacy of its exceptional leaders with the creation of The President's Society
Alumni and friends who support the College with an annual gift of $1,000 or more become members of this prestigious giving society. It is inspired by the determination and foresight of our presidents, and by the vision and generosity of the philanthropic leaders who have sustained their work-- leaders like Thomas Bryan, a friend of Abraham Lincoln and the most prominent early resident of Elmhurst, who provided founding president Carl Kranz and his students with the frontier land that became our campus.
Each member of the President's Society will provide key leadership to our ongoing efforts to support today's students as they learn to lead in a world that need their talent and commitment.
