Plan to join us on the Elmhurst College campus in October for Homecoming and Family Weekend 2014! This year’s festivities take place October 17–19 and offer a full weekend of fun.

Thursday, October 16

Class of 1964 Pre-Reunion Celebration*

Begin your Fifty-Year Reunion weekend on campus, sharing memories and stories with friends, while enjoying hors d’oeuvres in the heart of campus.

Fifty-Year Club Friday*

$25 per person (includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and programs)
Fifty-Year Club members (all that have graduated prior to or in 1964) are invited to spend the day on campus familiarizing yourself with the College today and reminiscing with your classmates over the memories of yesterday.

Members of the classes of 2004 and 2009 are welcome to enjoy a night to kick off homecoming 2014 and reconnect with classmates. Attendees will enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. Your first drink will be provided by the Office of Development and Alumni Relations. Attendees will also be able to enjoy a game of bocce ball while enjoying a night out with their classmates.

During this celebration we will induct new members into the Bluejay Backer Hall of Fame and honor this year’s Faculty/Staff and Alumni Merit Awardees. Hear reflections from an Elmhurst College Legacy Family and cheer alongside our spirit squads as we get an inside-peek of the team’s pre-game rituals and send them off to a Bluejay victory!

Reception and 41st Birthday Celebration of the Accelerator*

Featuring works by Department of Art alumni, this exhibition presents art in a wide variety of media including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture and graphic design. The opening reception held during Homecoming Weekend also marks the 41st birthday of the Elmhurst College particle accelerator.

St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, 125 W. Church Street, Elmhurst
The Elmhurst College choir and alumni will sing at this special Homecoming service joining the College and community. After the service, join alumni and community members for a continental breakfast.

Class of 1964 Architectural Cruise on the Chicago River*

$45 per person (cost includes cruise ticket and transportation to and from Elmhurst to Chicago)
End your 50th Reunion weekend by joining fellow classmates for an architectural cruise on the Chicago River. The 75 minute tour highlights Chicago’s rich architectural heritage, with dramatic views of residential and office buildings along the river.
