Programs of Study

The Department of Kinesiology at Elmhurst offers two majors: the major in physical education and the major in exercise science. Each major has a strong scientific component, and each stays up to date with current trends. Each provides a thorough understanding of the dynamics of human movement—essential preparation for a wide range of careers in the health professions and teaching.

The department also offers a minor in health education (health endorsement) and a program leading to teacher certification.
