Master of Market Research

Curriculum

The master of arts in Market Research at Elmhurst requires the successful completion of 11 courses for a total of 8.25 credits (33 semester hours).

  • MMR 583 Principles of Market Research with Strategic Application
  • MMR 584 Use of Social and Digital Media in Research
  • MMR 585 Marketing Strategy and Research Practicum, Part 1
  • MMR 586 Marketing Strategy and Research Practicum, Part 2
  • MMR 587 Managing the Research Process
  • MMR 588 Sampling Techniques for the Advanced Researcher
  • MMR 589 Data Management and Mining in the Research Process
  • MMR 590 Advanced Research Practicum
  • Three graduate-level electives (.75 credit each)

Program Format
The master of market research is a part-time program that can be completed in as little as two years. Offered through the Elmhurst College Online Center, the program is fully online with classes that are flexible enough to accommodate the schedules of professionals with work and family commitments.

Students complete coursework through eight week sesions. Classes are sequential and electives may be taken any time during the program. Please note, you can complete MMR 583, MMR 584, MMR 585, MMR 586 and electives by enrolling completely online or through evening classes on campus.

Movement between on-campus and online courses is handled on a case-by-case basis.
