UCC Confirmation Day 2009

"What does it mean to be UCC?"

Posted on: September 10, 2009

The annual UCC Confirmation Day program at Elmhurst College will take place Saturday, October 3. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Founders Lounge of the College’s Frick Center.

This interactive event, which includes presentations from youth ministry and mission, will feature the talents of the Harvard UCC Youth Band.

Participants will have a chance to showcase their creativity in break-out group activities, including a “spoken word” contest centered around the question, “What does it mean to be UCC?” Those willing to bring along a musical instrument to be incorporated into the presentations of these poetic renderings are encouraged to do so.

Confirmation Day includes lunch and tours of the Elmhurst College campus, highlighting the United Church of Christ’s commitment to higher education.

The cost for this event is $10 per participant, and includes lunch and program materials.

Click here for a registration form, to be completed and returned to the Office of the Chaplain by Friday, September 25, 2009.
