Eight senior art students use digital art, pen and ink, graphic and web design, paint, vintage photos and other media to convey a variety of themes during the Elmhurst College Art Department’s 46th Annual Spring Capstone Art Exhibition.
This exhibition is the high point for every graduating art major. Students work to create a body of work in their area of concentration, then plan the exhibition and design all of the promotional materials for it.
“These emerging artists have created innovative displays that are both intriguing and thought-provoking,” said Suellen Rocca, curator of exhibits for Elmhurst College.
Among the exhibitors:
The exhibition also includes work by Angie Koch of Dubuque, Iowa (graphic design); Lucy Mason of Oak Park (graphic design); Kim McElheny of Lockport (digital art); Felicia Roumeliotis of Shorewood (graphic design); McKinley Skemp of Dubuque, Iowa (graphic design); and Becky Webber of Oswego (graphic design).
