Opening, Invocation, and Welcome
Dr. Alzada Tipton, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty, opened the inauguration proceedings. The invocation was delivered by Soofia Ahmed '09, president of the Spiritual Life Council; and Rev. Michelle Hughes, Associate Chaplain. Kenne P. Bristol, Chair of the Board of Trustees, delivered a welcome address.
