The RN–MSN Option is designed for registered nurses (RNs) with baccalaureate degrees outside of nursing. This is an entry option to the graduate program and emphasizes achievement of baccalaureate competencies in nursing. Select courses have been identified as the bridge to baccalaureate competencies and preparation to proceed to graduate-level education in nursing.

Admission requirements include all stated requirements for the Master of Science in Nursing, as well as the following:

College-level courses in the following areas:
Required Bridge courses (6 semester hours at the undergraduate level)
Successful completion of the bridge courses with a grade of B or better is required to progress to the MSN courses.
Application Deadline
The preferred application completion deadlines are July 1 for the Fall Term and January 1 for the Spring Term. Students cannot begin work in the RN–MSN program in the Summer Term.
