Elmhurst offers two programs in nursing—baccalaureate and master's:
All baccalaureate prelicensure nursing students at Elmhurst College take courses in human anatomy and physiology, chemistry, general psychology, and other prerequisite courses in addition to their courses in nursing. They prepare for the non-clinical aspects of the profession with courses in healthcare leadership management, research methods, and elementary statistics. We offer plenty of flexibility, as well: Nursing students take liberal arts courses at the College that interest them and broaden their perspectives. Some students even complete a second major or a minor in a related or complementary field.
