Careers in Nursing

Elmhurst graduates have an outstanding success rate with the national licensure examination. Nearly all of our graduates report being employed within six months of graduation. Many go on to earn advanced degrees.

Many Elmhurst nursing alumni complete master's programs in nursing and teach at leading schools. They supervise and direct hospital nursing staffs, public health agencies, and home health care agencies.The possibilities are endless.

Recent graduates are working in a wide range of fields, including:
