Zeta Beta Chapter

of Sigma Theta Tau International

The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International was founded in 1922 by six nurses at the Indiana University Training School for Nurses. The organization has grown since that time to include chapters on six continents with over 125,000 current active members. The mission of the society is twofold: to provide leadership and scholarship in practice, education, and research to enhance the health of the world’s people; and to promote professional development of the members, who strive to improve nursing care.

Zeta Beta Chapter at Elmhurst College is one of 446 chapters on college campuses. It was established in 1982.
