On June 26, 2005, jazz lovers gathered on the Elmhurst College Mall for the College's 10th annual Summer Extravaganza, an evening of free music sponsored by Fifth Third Bank. This year's event featured the acoustic jazz quartet Yellowjackets and the Elmhurst College Jazz Band under the direction of Grammy Award-winner Doug Beach.
