The Inauguration Ceremony was preceded by an Inaugural Luncheon in the Frick Center.
The morning events also included a panel discussion that evoked the theme of Dr. Ray's inauguration, Renewing the Liberal Arts for a Global Century. The panel, on Students of the Global Century, included esteemed members of both Elmhurst's faculty and its student body. The Elmhurst College Wind Ensemble also performed before the luncheon guests proceeded to Hammerschmidt Chapel.
