Secondary education students majoring in psychology are required to take nine psychology course credits, including the following:
See the psychology department chair for additional psychology requirements.
In addition, the student must take required courses in the education department. The student should maintain close contact with both the psychology and education departments to assure completion of both major requirements and requirements for teacher certification.
In addition, students must complete courses in broadfield social studies. (See Education Department for a complete listing of broadfield courses.)
