Photographs
A professional photographer will take two pictures of each graduate. Ordering information will be available to you a couple of days after the ceremony. You may contact GradImages at (800) 261-2576. Your friends/relatives with cameras will be required to stay away from the platform to avoid congestion. They will be prohibited from taking pictures if the ceremony is held indoors.

Master's Hoods
If you are interested in purchasing a master's hood of your own, please call the Oak Hall Cap and Gown Company for further information. Contact John Mahoney at (708) 478-5001.

Graduation Announcements and Class Rings
Formal graduation announcements and class rings can be purchased at the Book Cellar in Goebel Hall. Contact the Book Cellar directly for other commencement accessories at (630) 617-3185.

Caps, Gowns and Hoods
Your order is based upon the attendance information you provided on the commencement post card. Refer to the commencement schedule for the dates and times when  you may pick up your cap, gown and hood. Immediately after the ceremony you must return your cap, gown and hood. The tassel is yours to keep.

Transcripts
At the end of June, a copy of your final transcript for your records, which shows your course grades, degree, major(s), minor and honors, will be mailed free of charge, compliments of the Elmhurst College Alumni Assocation. Additional transcript requests may be made on the Registration and Records website. Transcripts are released only if financial obligations to the College have been satisfied.

Tuition and Fee Payment
Financial obligations to the College must be satisfied in order for your degree to be awarded. You are encouraged to contact the Office of Student Accounts at (630) 617-3015 with questions regarding the discharge of financial obligations.

Graduates Not Attending Commencement
Graduates may pick up their diplomas starting June 10, 2013. Unclaimed diplomas will be mailed to the student at the address on file starting June 17, 2013.

Information Post Card
This lists your name and degree (as it will appear on your diploma) and in the commencement program. Please review this information carefully and correct it if necessary. Return by April 8, 2013.

Rehearsal for Commencement
Rehearsal is held in Hammerschmidt Chapel on Friday, May 31 from 5:45 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.. If you plan to attend commencement, you must attend the rehearsal. There is no exception to this requirement.

Baccalaureate
The baccalaureate service is a private moment for the graduates at which they, the President, the Dean, and the Chaplain reflect on the meaning of an Elmhurst College education. It takes place at 9:00 a.m. on June 1 in Hammerschmidt Chapel. Attendance is mandatory. Graduates should wear their caps and gowns to Baccalaureate.

Final Grades
Senior grades due on the web May 28, 2013. Prospective graduates who fail Spring Term 2013 courses and do not meet minimum graduate requirements will be informed by May 30, 2013 that they are being removed from the May 2013 graduation listing.

Incompletes
All "incompletes" ("I" grades) must be resolved and submitted to the Office of Registration and Records by May 6th. This deadline supersedes any date made with individual instructors. Students will not be allowed to graduate if "incompletes" remain on the record, including any received during Spring Term 2013.

Tickets
Tickets for graduation guests are not needed if commencement is held outdoors on the Elmhurst College Campus Mall. If the weather prevents an outdoor commencement ceremony, we will move to R.A. Faganel Hall, one block north of the main campus. Since indoor seating is limited, tickets (three per graduate) will be distributed at rehearsal.

Change of Venue
Commencement is scheduled to take place on the Elmhurst College Campus Mall. However, if severe weather causes the ceremony to be moved to R.A. Faganel Hall , this information will be available after 7:30 a.m. on June 1 by calling (630) 617-2000 or by checking the College’s website

Handicapped
Handicapped parking and seating will be available
