First-Year Residential Experience (FYRE)
The First-Year Residential Experience (FYRE) community is a living and learning environment that is dedicated to the personal and academic growth and development of first-year students. The program is developed around Elmhurst College’s five Core Values and offers students additional engagement opportunities with faculty and residence life staff, including leadership workshops, service learning, team building activities and off-campus social events.
