Child Care
Elmhurst College is proud to offer on-campus child care for the children of students. Experienced professionals care for your children in a safe, comfortable, and caring environment while you attend class.
Hours
Monday–Thursday: 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Closed during summer months when our half day summer camp is in session.
Costs
$6.00 per hour per child for students
$7.00 per hour per child for faculty and staff
$8.00 per hour per child for guests
Staff
Taryne Blomgren, child care center director, is an Elmhurst College graduate with a B.A. in Psychology. She has a wide range of experience working with kids in various settings such as summer camps, nannying, and daycare facilities, including the Elmhurst College Child Care Center for two years during college.
Trained staff includes Elmhurst College students pursuing a degree in education or other related fields. All staff are CPR and First Aid certified.
